About Me

Hi there,

As you see my little profile box on the right, my name is Phuong. I was born in the North of Vietnam, I grew up in the South (Ho Chi Minh city), left part of my heart in San Francisco and had a quick detour to Singapore before moving back to the States. I'm currently located in Austin, Texas.

I truly love being a normal weirdo in this city! I love to feel and see things differently from the way you feel and see. Life is full of little amazing things, the point is how we notice their existence. I love to be the person who can bring those little things into life. I spend my spare time taking a ride to nowhere with my camera and my notebook. This blog site was first released in 2011, since I blogged about my daily life in Vietnam. Please excuse my random Vietnamese posts, because I just love Vietnamese so much that I would keep blogging about it sometime.

A little bit more things about me that you might laugh when you surface my posts:

• I usually like foggy/rainy season than sunny days 
• I love the smell of old old old books with vintage typography 
• I have Automatonophobia, meaning I am not a big fan of dolls, mannequins, and even puppets 
• I prefer taking buses/trains over driving cars; dogs over cats; flats over high heels; beaches over mountains; ice-cream over everything
• I have a little baby Thy whom I am so grateful to call her my daughter :)
